Princess “Cake 4 Kids” Cake #3

Last weekend, I made a princess cake for “cake 4 kids” (the organization I volunteer for). It turned out to be one of my favorite cakes that I have baked and decorated so far. When I first came across this idea online, I immediately wanted to make it.

This was a 3 layer vanilla sponge cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I used a glass bowl to bake the cake that I thought would look like the dress of a princess. I also used a 6in. cake to make the dress taller. I used a doll pick from Wilton which I decorated with frosting. I used tip #104, #2D, and #16 to decorate the cake. For the letters on the cake board, I used fondant.

Overall, I was happy with the final result and I hope that the little girl likes it too!
