Cookies + Cute Packaging!

Today I’m going to share a bunch of cookies that I baked for my aunt who flew from overseas to stay with us for 4 weeks.

She was going to leave in few days, so of course I couldn’t let her leave empty handed!

I baked a few different types of cookies for her and my family in Pakistan to munch on.

These cupcakes were so much fun to make and were very effective. They were so easy to make, that I decided to make a tutorial on my YouTube channel – TheBakingOwl – so all of you can make them too!

Awhile ago, I made a cookie monster cake for my brother’s birthday that is very similar to the cupcakes I made.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

A couple of days ago my 5 year old brother came to me and said that he wanted chocolate chip cookies. I looked and saw that our box of cookies that we bought were finished, so I told him that I would make a batch  of chocolate chip cookies for him. (I didn’t tell him that I would put oatmeal in the cookies.) He got so excited and even helped me make the cookies. After I baked 2 cookie sheets filled with cookies, I had a little bit of the dough left. My dad told me to add a little bit of ground flaxseed to the remaining batter, so that the cookies would me more healthy. Here are the links for the cookies (the recipe is in a 2 part video) Part 1http://www.marthastewart.com/939507/oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies-part-1?search_key=oatmeal%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies.Part 2-http://www.marthastewart.com/939507/oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies-part-1?search_key=oatmeal%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies#939509
